Adam Dakin, Managing Partner

Adam  founded Medivation Advisors based on his passion for patient care and healthtech.  During his tenure as a Partner at Dreamit Ventures,  Adam advised over 50 companies, led investments in over 20, and expanded the enterprise network to over 70 partners.


Adam previously co-founded five health technology companies and served as CEO of three. He has raised over $60M in seed and Series A  funding and led several M&A transactions. Adam has  published numerous articles and videos (MedCity News Influencer and Dreamit Dose series) covering fundraising, investor pitch decks, and governance. 


Adam is a board director for Safkan Health and RightAir and an executive advisor to ZSX Medical and Pression.  He is an active angel investor and has served as a board director for twelve startups.  Adam is a recipient of the PACT MedTech leadership award and a named inventor on eight U.S. patents. He teaches a graduate level course on healthcare entrepreneurship within the Penn School of Medicine. He holds a BSE from the Wharton School and an MBA from UCLA.  


A former Division I varsity tennis player, Adam is now a pickleball fanatic.  Adam hopes to be a professional poker player in his next life.
